On 07/06/24 around 4:34pm, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of E. Houston Harte in reference to a motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, Officers located a white in color passenger car that had left the roadway and collided into a traffic sign.
SAPD’s Motors Division, Crime Scene, and Drone Division were requested on scene to assist with the investigation.
It was learned that this was a single vehicle accident and there was one male passenger (26 years of age) uninjured.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Chelsea Gray (26 years of age) who was later pronounced deceased at Shannon Medical Center.
