Police Investigate Possible Stabbing

This afternoon, San Angelo Police arrested Mikel Doyle (DOB 03/13/84) in connection to the stabbing investigation. He was charged with Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
On Friday, March 24, 2017, just before 9:15 a.m., San Angelo Police and Fire Department Personnel were dispatched to the area of Ben Ficklin Road and Calle Sendera for the report of a stabbing.
A passerby located a 33-year-old man who said he had been stabbed but did not want police involved.
First responders located the injured man walking near the 4200 block of S. Bryant Boulevard and transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives with the Department’s Criminal Investigations and Patrol Division have responded to multiple locations during the preliminary investigation.
