Police Investigate Burglary at Foster Communications Coliseum

San Angelo Police are investigating a Burglary that occurred at the San Angelo Foster Communications Coliseum, 50 E. 43rd Street. 

Police were dispatched to the Coliseum just before 8:00 a.m. for the report of a burglary discovered by COSA Civic Events staff.  

Officers arrived and cleared the venue for safety precautions.  No suspects were located.  

After a preliminary check of the venue by staff members and Police, it was discovered that the suspect(s) gained entry to the venue by forcing their way through an exterior door.  Once inside, the suspect(s) stole various tools that were located inside a secured office. The incident most likely occurred sometime after 6:30 p.m. last night.  

Staff members advised it may take several days to complete a thorough inventory of the venue and surrounding buildings. 

Crime Scene Investigations also responded to process the scene for evidence.  

This is an ongoing investigation and additional information will be released when it becomes available.
