Parolee Caught with Guns, Meth, Money during Traffic Stop in North San Angelo

A 54-year-old San Angelo man is facing multiple Felony charges following a weekend traffic stop in North San Angelo. 

On June 3, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., San Angelo Police conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a 2004 Lincoln Continental near W. 34th and N. Chadbourne Streets. 

The driver, identified as Michael A. Green, was found to have a warrant for Parole Violation and was placed under arrest. 

During a search of Green incident to his arrest, Officers located a small plastic bag that contained suspected methamphetamine and approximately $6,900 in U.S. currency.  During a search of Green’s vehicle, Officers located drug paraphernalia consistent with the trafficking of illegal narcotics, more suspected methamphetamine, and two firearms.  One of the firearms was confirmed to have been reported stolen out of San Antonio, Texas.  

Green was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon, and his Parole Violation Warrant.
