Teens Arrested after Weekend Crime Spree at Two Popular Rec Spots

Two San Angelo Teens were arrested on Good Friday following investigations at two local recreational facilities.

Two male juveniles, ages 13 and 15, were charged with Felony Theft, Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief and Criminal Trespass following investigations at Bentwood Country Club and a nearby church recreational facility March 30, 2018.

During the spree, the juveniles reportedly stole a loaded beverage cart from Bentwood and later crashed it into the church camp’s fence in the 2000 block of Willow Drive.  The camp’s building was also forcibly entered and evidence from the beverage cart was located inside, partially consumed.

The juveniles, who had also been recently reported as runaways, were transported to the Tom Green County Juvenile Justice Center without incident.
