San Angelo Woman Jailed on Heroin Trafficking Charge
On Wednesday afternoon, April 19, 2017, investigators with the San Angelo Police Department’s Street Crimes Division executed a Search and Arrest Warrant at a residence in the 800 block of E. 21st Street.
The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace Judge J.P. McGuire, named 40-year-old Patricia Cadena to be in possession of a quantity of heroin. Cadena was located at the residence and taken into custody without incident.
During a search of the residence, investigators located and seized a quantity of suspected heroin, suspected methamphetamine, and items consistent with the trafficking of illegal narcotics.
Cadena was transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 >=200G<400G and State Jail Felony Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 <1G.
The Department’s Patrol Division and K-9 Unit assisted the operation.
