Press Release #092415(23)-San Angelo Police Honor Guard Receives Electronic Bugle from Retiree Assoc

The San Angelo Police Department's Honor Guard has a new instrument thanks to the generosity of the San Angelo Retiree Officer Association.

Members of the Association presented San Angelo Police Sergeant Daniel Williams and Police Chief Tim Vasquez with an electronic bugle during the group's monthly breakfast gathering.  The bugle will be used to play Taps and other songs during various Honor Guard duties when a bugler is unavailable.

Members donated the money for the bugle, which cost approximately $600.00

To date, the Association has upwards of 135 members from various civilian and military law enforcement backgrounds.  The monthly breakfast is held on the first Wednesday of each month at Gil's Restaurant in San Angelo.  The Association is open to all retired law enforcement.
