Police Sergeant Interrupts Theft, Arrests Two Suspects

Just after 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, San Angelo Police Sergeant E. Tabone was conducting patrol in the 1100 block of Glenna Street when he observed interior vehicle lights emitting from the G & G Automotive overflow parking area.

Knowing the business was closed for the evening; Sgt. Tabone investigated the suspicious activity and located two subjects on the property.  They were identified as Gabriel R. Perez, 27, and Jose C. Haro, 28, of San Angelo.

The pair was located near items that had been stacked outside an enclosed, gooseneck trailer.

Following a short investigation, it was discovered the trailer’s locking mechanism had been forced open and the contents removed.

Perez and Haro were transported to the Tom Green County Jail and charged with Criminal Trespass and Class A Misdemeanor Theft of Property.  Perez was also booked for an outstanding warrant for State Jail Felony Theft of Property.
