Police Locate Gun, Stolen Property, Clear Several Open Cases with Warrant Arrest

On Wednesday afternoon, April 5, 2017, Members of the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division attempted to located 19-year-old Joshua Anthony Puga, who was wanted on an outstanding 2nd Degree Felony Burglary of Habitation Arrest Warrant. 

Puga was located near 13th and Oakes and arrested without incident.  During a search incident to his arrest, Investigators located a firearm, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and suspected stolen property.  

In addition to the warrant arrest, Puga was charged with Unlawful Carrying Weapon, Possession of Marijuana <2OZ, and Possession Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Subsequent to the field investigation, Detectives linked Puga to several open investigations and additional charges are pending the outcome of those investigations.
