On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, Investigators with the Department’s Street Crimes Division executed an Evidentiary Search Warrant at a residence in the 5400 block of Ben Ficklin Road.
The warrant, issued by District Judge Jay Weatherby, named 39-year-old Shannon McGhee to be in possession of Methamphetamine at the residence.
McGhee and 49-year-old David Steckling were located and detained during the search, which yielded approximately four (4) ounces of suspected Methamphetamine along with narcotic distribution paraphernalia.
McGhee and Steckling were charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 and transported to the Tom Green County Jail.
The Department’s Patrol Division, K-9 Unit, and the Center for Tactical Medicine assisted with yesterday’s operation.
